May I stay and watch the class?

Due to Covid-19 we are have limited one parent to remain in the waiting area during their child’s instruction. Additional spectators and siblings are not permitted at this time.

How do I find out about weather closings?

In the event of inclement weather, we post class cancellations on the home page of our website and social media. You will also receive an email and SMS text message.

As we have gymnasts coming from many areas, our closings may not match school closings. If the weather in your area makes travel unsafe, please call or email us.

Are there any ‘make up’ classes?

Our makeup policy has changed. If your gymnast misses a class you will receive a credit for one class in the next session. Please request your credit by emailing us at: office@gymschool.com. There will be no refunds.

If IGS cancels class due to inclement weather this will not count as an attended class.

Should my child be in a different class?

We continually assess students throughout the year and can move gymnasts at any point.

If a coach recommends that your child switch classes for the upcoming session, you will either receive an e-mail along with the coach’s recommendation, or the coach will speak with you directly. If you have any questions, you can always ask your child’s coach.

We want to challenge all the students so they are learning new skills and progressing, but our highest priority is the safety and well-being of your child.
